Classes

01

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu martial art and combat sport based on grappling, ground fighting, and submission holds. BJJ is used to fight an opponent, without the need to strike them, taking an opponent to the ground, gaining a dominant position, and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks or chokeholds. The Kings jiu jitsu program (available 6 days a week) is taught by head coach Hoshi Friedrich, who earned his black belt from his professor Thiago Stefanutti in São Paulo, Brazil.

02

Thai Kickboxing

Thai Kickboxing is the most effective striking martial art in the world, and teaches the techniques required for success in MMA. The King’s students become quickly conditioned and fit, using high energy sessions delivered 6 days a week.

We focus on skill development over fitness (the 6 pack is just a great side effect). By coming to Kings you will develop a modern striking style, tested and proven through full contact bouts.

03

MMA Fight Team

Kings was founded in 2015 with the vision of creating well rounded athletes, who are skilled in all elements of MMA. Once a student has developed the fundamental skills in both striking and jiu jitsu, they are qualified to attend fighter training held daily at 5:30pm. These classes are advanced, further developing wrestling, cage craft, fighter IQ and refining those skills for competition. If you want to become an MMA fighter, rest assured the Kings MMA program and network of fight promotions available, will get you to the top.

04

Kids Jiu Jitsu

Jiu Jitsu is the perfect martial art for kids. Instilling discipline, confidence, responsibility and positive values; our kids program is available to ages 5 and up. Operating four days a week, the kids program is comprehensive. We split the room into two to four age groups and pair the children appropriately so they can get the most out of the program. In the younger group we focus on building coordination, jiu jitsu skills, and fitness through games, techniques and drills. In our older program, (9-14) the training starts to get a little more serious, with skill development, detailed technical instruction and live wrestling (sparring); you can be sure that your children are developing very practical skills.
